Community Reminder
While precipitation has helped reduce fire danger, fuels across the district remain dry and can still ignite easily, especially from lightning strikes or careless activities.
We encourage everyone to:
- Stay alert when working or recreating outdoors.
- Use caution with any equipment or activity that could spark a fire.
- If you see smoke or flames, call 911 immediately. Prompt reporting ensures the fastest possible response with the appropriate resources.
Your vigilance is critical to keeping Lookingglass and our surrounding communities safe.
