  • FireMed— Emergency ambulance service for $65.00 per household per year. “As a FIREMED member, you and your household receive the following: emergency treatment and transportation, paramedic rescue, and travel coverage within our coverage area.”
  • Life Flight Network— medically necessary emergency flights for $60.00 per household per year. “Life Flight Network is a medical transport service provided by a consortium of Oregon Health & Science University, Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, and Providence Health & Services. All are dedicated to improving patient outcomes by providing helicopter, fixed-wing, and ground ambulance support to seriously ill or injured patients in a safe and timely manner. We bring the ICU to you.”

  • Make non-emergency phone calls to 541-440-4471, such as for arranging test of smart-device emergency calls or to report non-emergency incidents or crimes.
  • Online reporting of non-emergency incidents or crimes on minor criminal offenses, non-injury accidents, insurance reports, suspicious activity and more.

  • Close Your Door safety initiative After proving a closed door could potentially save lives in a fire, the Underwriters Laboratories Firefighter Safety Research Institute (UL FSRI) has committed to share this finding with the world.
  • National Fire Protection Association (NFPA): Public Education We can all help make the world a safer place by learning more about how and why fires start. We offer dozens of consumer-friendly fact sheets on a wide range of timely and important topics – everything you need to know to keep you, your family, and your neighbors safe from fire and related hazards.
  • Firewise Communities NFPA’s Firewise USA® program teaches people how to adapt to living with wildfire and encourages neighbors to work together and take action now to prevent losses.
  • Smokey Bear “The Cooperative Forest Fire Prevention (CFFP) Program, commonly known as the Smokey Bear Program, was created to maintain public awareness of the need to prevent human-caused wildfires. It is managed by the US Forest Service in cooperation with the Advertising Council, Inc. (Ad Council) and the National Association of State Foresters (NASF).”
