- Central Douglas Fire & Rescue
- Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards & Training (DPSST)
- Lookingglass Rural Fire District (host)
Why Live Fire Training?
Hands-on practice in realistic conditions helps firefighters sharpen tactics, teamwork, and safety procedures so they are ready for real emergencies.
What is LPG?
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (propane) is commonly used for heating and cooking. Because it is stored under pressure and can burn intensely if released, firefighters train specifically on safe control and extinguishment techniques.
What to Expect
- Visible flames during controlled evolutions
- Fire apparatus and personnel operating in the area
- Brief periods of increased noise and traffic near the training site
Thank you for your support as we train to protect lives and property.
