Lookingglass Rural Fire District is excited to announce that Workman’s Bar & Smokehouse and Workman’s Construction have graciously offered to fully cover the cost of food for the LRFD Open House on June 27th, 2026.

LRFD had been working on food plans for the event and was discussing catering options and pricing with Workman’s Bar & Smokehouse. During that process, Workman’s Bar & Smokehouse, along with Workman’s Construction, generously offered to provide support by covering the food completely.

LRFD is truly thankful for the kindness and support shown by both businesses. Their generosity helps make this community event possible and allows event donations and proceeds to remain focused on firefighter health, safety, and equipment needs.

The generosity shown by Workman’s Bar & Smokehouse and Workman’s Construction directly benefits the Lookingglass community and helps strengthen the partnership between local businesses and your volunteer fire district. LRFD encourages our community to help support the local businesses that continually support emergency services and community events.
